Ania (Pronounced An-ya) is originally Ukrainian and has lived and studied all over the world. She completed her 200h Teacher Training at CorePowerYoga in Chicago in 2016. Since then, she has been teaching yoga in Philadelphia/NJ area. She teaches both heated and unheated Vinyasa flow classes, as well as “Yoga Sculpt”, a vigorous, vinyasa-style class incorporating weights, core and cardio exercises. In the summer of 2019 Ania is relocating to Syracuse to pursue a PhD in Information Science at the iSchool and is excited to immerse herself in the yoga community here! Katherine S. Hyatt LMHC, NCC, RYT is a 200-hr YTT, teaching at Syracuse Yoga, chair yoga at the Syracuse VAMC through Connected Warriors and at her mental health private practice, Branches of Growth Mental Health Counseling, PLLC. She is trained in trauma-conscious yoga and kids yoga in hopes to bring the practice to all populations. Jose Carlos Perez
Traditional Cuban Ballet
Jose Carlos studied at the Cuban School of Ballet where he studied extensive ballet technique & Horton Modern technique until graduating in 2014. In addition, he trained at XIX and XX International Meeting of Academies for teaching ballet. Upon graduation, he was a dancer with the Camaguey Ballet dance company. Here he performed roles such as Soldier Doll in The Nutcracker, Waltz of the Hours in Coppelia, as well as being showcased in the Don Quixote pas de deux, La Fille Mal Gardee, Flames of Paris, and Giselle. Jose Carlos joined Syracuse City Ballet as Resident Dancer in 2017 and has since been feature in Snow White, Romeo & Juliet, Shakespear in the Park, Summer Heat, An Intimate Evening, and Aladdin.
Maryann has been a ballet instructor for Ballet & Dance of Upstate, NY for over 15 years. She was raised in North Carolina where she trained with the Raleigh School of Ballet/ Raleigh Dance Theatre under the direction of Ann Vorus (Atlanta Ballet) and Mary LeGere (Pennsylvania Ballet). She continued her ballet training while attending college for biology, dancing with Southold Dance Theater (Indiana) and attending summer programs with Atlanta Ballet, Richmond Ballet, Pennsylvania Ballet, and Boston Ballet. Upon moving to Syracuse for graduate school, she began dancing and working for Syracuse City Ballet/ Ballet & Dance of Upstate, NY. Her repertoire includes soloist roles in the classics including Giselle, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Nutcraker, and Coppelia.
Moving Without Fear In Improvisation
Sarah has received her BFA in Dance from The College at Brockport, State University of New York, studied dance abroad in London, England, and currently teaches at Camillus Dance Centre and Dance Arts Studio & Center of Movement Studies. Her dance training includes ballet, Horton, Alexander technique, contact improvisation, and other modern dance release techniques. Anatomical alignment, individual explorations, somatic movement research, and community engagement are big components to her classes.
Modern: Mind and Body
Lynea received her BFA degree at the College at Brockport. Since, she has taught a multitude of classes with Ballet & Dance of Upstate NY and Camillus Dance Centre. She has been a performer, choreographer, and teacher for establishments such as The Syracuse City Ballet, Syracuse University, OCC, Society for New Music, Syracuse Fashion Week, Rochester City Ballet, Belly Set Go, Spark Contemporary Art Space, and so much more. She is also the founder of Syracuse In Heels.

Evolving Lyrical Technique
Hannah, owner and director of Evolution Dance Academy in North Syracuse, NY has over 20 years of formal dance training in ballet, tap, lyrical, hip hop, Irish step,pointe, modern,and acrobatics. She has taken master classes with NYC Rocket's, Dance Xplosion in Disney World with Hector Flores, Amiee Woods, Dance Rochester with Aaron Tolson, and SUNY Brockport. She has also been a competitive dancer for many year. Hannah has won numerous awards for performances in jazz, tap, lyrical and over all high scores for musical theater and lyrical. Her choreography has received overall high score awards and numerous top 10 winners at both the regional and national levels. She has trained students who have won regionals and attained scholarships to attend nationals. Hannah has also won dancers the overall technique award, highest scoring routine of the competition (lyrical) and numerous choreography awards. Her lyrical dances have placed in the top five and won many overalls at competitions. Students under her direction have received many special recognitions and judges awards. Hannah's fun and energetic personality and creativity in the classroom are contagious to those around her.
Partner Acrobatics For Dance
Patrick DiBello is the owner and head trainer of MIM Athletics. He considers himself a student of movement, and he explores yoga, calisthenics, and partner acrobatics as his primary methods of training. His personal training certification and food and nutrition specialist certification are through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Patrick is an Elite Coach with the World Calisthenics Organization and competes at Battle of the Bars, a freestyle calisthenics competition where participants compete and display strength using only their bodyweight. Patrick has been a student and teacher of body weight movement for five years and is passionate about helping people start and grow their journey in unique skills and movements. He is also a yoga instructor at Syracuse Yoga.
Emmilly fell in love with dance at the age of three when she began her dance training at Tawn Marie's Dance Centre in Liverpool, NY studying ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, musical theatre and pointe. Emmilly was accepted into the Rockette Summer Intensive in 2012, where she was able to train and learn choreography from the Radio City Rockettes, including their famous eye-high kicks. She had the privilege to attend the intensive for five summers and hopes to continue attending in the future. She currently teaches at Tiffany's School of Dance & Performing Arts Center in both their Skaneateles and Onondaga Hill locations., it's easy.
Seema Sureshkumar is a trained Indian classical Kathak and Bollywood dance teacher in Central New York and founder of Anjani Dance Academy. She has been teaching dance for the past five years in CNY and has students from Buffalo, New England, Utica, New Hartford, Manlius, Fayatteville, Jamesville, Syracuse, and Liverpool. Jaclyn DeVore is a dance artist originally from Mexico, New York. Obtaining her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance in 2017 from The College at Brockport, where she participated and performed in numerous concerts and conferences, including ACDA, Rochester's Fringe Festival, Triskelion Arts, Brockport Alumni Dance, Summer Dance at Brockport, and many more. Jaclyn has studied under various artists such as, William Evans, Mariah Maloney, Karl Rogers, Netta Yerushalmy, Donnell Oakley, Jesse Zaritt, and others. Jaclyn is currently located in Rochester, New York after teaching various classes in Phoenix, Arizona.
Valentina started Belly Dancing 10 years ago for fun, and has never looked back. What started as a hobby, turned into a passion. She has been teaching and performing professionally for the past three years, and has enjoyed every moment. Valentina has studied with teachers all over the area, and travels around the country to study and perform whenever possible! Valentina loves the passion, grace, intensity, and pure joy that belly dance embodies, and has enjoyed learning about Middle Eastern culture through dance.
Jolene is the Co-owner & Artistic Director of ADDC. She has been teaching dance in both Central New York and the Southern Tier for over a decade. She is a graduate of the State University of New York at Oneonta. At SUNY Oneonta she was a choreographer & performer for the Terpsichorean Dance Company and served on their executive board. Her choreography has been showcased in performances by the Thought Alarm Theater, Dance With Utica, the New York Dance Festival, Carrie Lazarus Extraordinary Live, and in the upcoming event The Magical World of Laura Marino. Jolene’s dancers have consistently received top overall score awards at numerous regional and national dance competitions and currently hold several national titles. Jolene has been awarded choreography awards for her distinct and thought provoking choreography most recently at Artist Simply Human, Revel Dance Convention, and Soul De Soul Dance Convention. When she is not teaching in her studio she loves to travels the Northeast teaching workshops and judging for various regional and national competitions. She is so excited to be a part of the first Salt City Dance Festival!

“Kristen Davis is a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist and Co-Owner of Teaspoons to Tablespoons Nutrition. She holds a Master's Degree in Nutrition Science from Syracuse University where she is also an Adjunct Professor of Nutrition. Kristen is also a lover of dance, having been trained in multiple disciplines and is currently an instructor at Ballet & Dance of Upstate New York.”

“Alyssa Darrow is a Central New York native, currently working as a dance educator, movement researcher and dance artist in Buffalo, NY area. A graduate of the College at Brockport, SUNY, Darrow is currently on staff for a Western New York Charter School where she teaches courses in ballet, jazz, modern, improv and choreography through a kinesiological lens. Alyssa is eager to return to the CNY area and excited to share her love for movement research with as many students as possible.”
“Rachael has been teaching ballet for 15 years, has a BA from Mercyhurst University in Dance & Arts Administration, and currently teaches ballet and pointe for Ballet & Dance of Upstate NY. Previously Rachael has performed, choreographed, and taught for Lake Erie Ballet, has taught college level ballet and pointe classes at Mercyhurst University, and managed and instructed for La Luna Dance Studio, a 600-student school in the Philadelphia area, and was most recently the Ballet Mistress & Company Manager for Syracuse City Ballet.”

2012. Dominique's Passion and raw talent has earned her
scholarships to the Joffrey Ballet, Alvin Alley, Dance Theater of Harlem, Broadway Dance Center, and NYSSA . Beginning her training at the young age of three Dominique as experienced world wide training in numerous styles of dance. She has over 20 years experience in all different techniques such as, jazz, tap, ballet, hip-hop, modern, contemporary, acrobatics, and ballroom. Dominique challenges her dancers to " Dare To Be Different "and dance for the best they can be. She hopes to continue to grow while transcending passion to every dancer she can.
“Rebecca Alexander is a 200-Hour E-RYT and licensed doctor of physical therapy who believes that wellness begins from the inside out.
With additional yoga training in Kripalu vinyasa flow, Yoga for the pelvic floor, and Yoga nidra, Rebecca is currently pursuing her 500-Hour Yoga Instructor certification. She is a grant recipient of Kripalu's Teach for Diversity program, and has co-authored local publications about adaptive fitness in collaboration with the Fitness Inclusion Network and providers through Upstate Medical University. Rebecca’s biggest passion is strengthening the link between healthcare with yoga.”
Caroline L. Brackett holds an MA from Columbia University, TC in Dance Education and is a Certified Movement Analyst through LIMS. She danced with several modern companies in NYC, was a principal dancer with the New Orleans Ballet Company and has performed in numerous musical theater productions in NY and NOLA including “42 nd Street”, “Sweet Charity”, “West Side Story”, “My Fair Lady”, “Cabaret”, “Funny Girl”, “Jekyll & Hyde”, and “A Chorus Line”. She can be seen in two movies “Interview With A Vampire” and “Undercover Blues” as well as two commercials.
Frazee Feet Rep
Zachary Frazee is a professional dancer, choreographer and teacher based in Rochester,
NY. He received his BFA in Dance from SUNY Brockport in 2014, and is now the Artistic
Director of his own dance company, Frazee Feet Dance. Frazee has danced professionally with
companies and choreographers such as the New York State Ballet, Saratoga City Ballet, Frazee
Feet Dance, James Hansen Assemblage Dance, Flower City Ballet, Electric Grit, William Evans,
Cheryl Johnson, Rachel Keane & Company, and BIODANCE. His choreographic work has been
presented with the New York State Ballet, Frazee Feet Dance, the Empire State Youth Dance
Ensemble, Nacre Dance Company, and at events such as the Rochester Fringe Festival,
Brockport Alumni Dance Choreographer’s Showcase, Contemporary Choreographer’s
Showcase at Dance Days of Buffalo, Penfield Dance Team Showcase, Kaleidoscopic Domain

Ms. Emma, a master ballet teacher and founder of International Ballet Intensive, Ms. Emma was recently guest pedagogue at the prestigious Varna International Ballet
Competition/Ballet Academy in July 2018. She has been a guest company teacher at the Laura Alonso, Pro Danza Company, Havana, Cuba; National Opera and Ballet of Bulgaria;
The National Ballet School of Bulgaria; Ballet Academy Marian, Bulgaria; International
Ballet Competition USA; Atlanta Ballet; and Ailey II Company among others. Ms. Emma is
currently on faculty in the Drama Department at Syracuse University. She is a member of
International Dance Council. In 2015, Danita Emma was named a Fulbright Specialist in Dance and has served on the Fulbright Selection in the US and Bulgaria.
Dr. Dillon Caswell, PT, DPT is a physical therapist and manager of the Syracuse location of Goldwyn & Boyland Physical Therapy. He is also an adjunct professor for Upstate Medical University. Dr. Caswell specializes in orthopedic and sports management of youth, collegiate, and professional athletes across the lifespan both in the clinic and on the field. His goals are to prevent injuries, provide tools to guide the injured athlete through performance in their sport, and to address the underlying dysfunction. Furthermore, he focuses on the mind body connection for recovery and to treat chronic illness and pain.
